About Cathy
My name is Cathy Reints and I am a certified TEA designated Master Secondary Math Teacher. I have taught 7th grade - Algebra 1 for the past 15 years at a Title 1 school in Texas. Each of those 15 years, 98% or greater of my students successfully passed/mastered the end of course test necessary for grade level credit.
I am confident that I can help your or your child turn your "math is not my thing" into "Math wasnt my thing until NOW!!!" I look forward to hearing from you!
I graduated, in 2013, from East Texas Baptist University with a Bachelors of Science in Education specializing in Secondary Math Education. I have since received over 250 hours of professional development to become highly qualified, certified to teach Gifted and Talented students, teach critical thinking and much more. In 2023 I received my Masters in Educational Leadership.

When working with a new student, I first try to get to know the student and find out what they perceive their strengths and weaknesses are. There needs to be a positive rapport before learning can take place. I assure them that their success is my priority and we will work together to make that success a reality!!
