About Karen
My earliest tutoring experiences we're working as student math tutor as a student at University of Florida.
I work as a professional engineer, where a large part of my job includes training others. I've also taught math peer-lead study sessions in college, as well as informally to friends and family. I have also taught Cubscouts and Boy Scout award classes.
Having raised two sons, I have had many hours of hands-on experience with tutoring my own children.

When starting with a new student I will first determine the area of study in which they want to focus. Then, I will ask them to describe the areas that they cannot understand. From that point, I will back up until we reach an area that they fully understand, and we would build from there.
I would ensure we are working from the student's school curriculum.
My recent teaching experience has been as an instructor and my son' Cub Scout and Boy Scouts troops.
Attending a Boy Scout awards ceremony, honoring the accomplishments of my students.
