About John
My name is John Chism and I am an Engineering Student at the University of Kentucky. I have excelled in every mathematic course taken in the UK with a 4.00 GPA in mathematic classes alone. I have shown an extreme passion and ability for mathematics since a young age, and nothing satisfies me more than being able to teach other people the concepts that I have learned. I was always the student who others would look for help in math classes, and of course, I always helped. Helping others understand something the way I see it motivates me daily and brings a smile to my face. As I am finishing my last calculus class (Calculus 4), I am ready and able to expand my services to more clients in need of tutoring services. I am more than able to help any student with any mathematical concept since I am very well-versed in the subject.

First I begin with introducing myself and explaining to them my background in mathematics, so they feel more comfortable and that the client will know they can trust. Then I will ask about themselves, their own passions, and even how the subject makes them feel. Mathematics can be very stressful, so I always aim to create a stress-free environment so they can fully focus their attention on the subject.
