About Leiv
I love to help others improve and learn. I will help these students achieve their academic goals by:
1) helping them understand the work
2) helping them memorize the work
3) making everything that I teach them simple and straight forward
4) I'll teach them in a fun way to not only keep them awake and focused but me as well 😂.
I've only ever tutored my friends,family members, or kids who were struggling in math at my school.
I'm fairly new to this but i can guarantee to you that you're child will improve in what ever they need help in.

The main thing I enjoy about the work I do is seeing these kids learn and retain their knowledge. I am extremely patient so there's absolutely zero rush while im working with a student. I Want these kids to be completely honest when it come to them not understanding something. I want these kids to feel comfortable with me and not ashamed to ask me a question if they don't understand something that their learning.
I am not a teacher i'm still a highschool student. However I am good at what I do and I can guarantee that your child will improve. As a student I could offer you a different perspective. I started helping out other students with their work when I was in 8th grade I understood the work and caught on quickly so it wasn't hard for me, But I noticed how hard it was for some of my friends to complete the work and also focus. So I created a groupchat with all of them and helped them out every day after school (I did this for my family as well) then it just went on from there.
I'm still i highschool student i have all honors classes and i'm passing in all of them with an A or B average. I'll provide you with a different perspective to things and I'll understand you're child's frustrations when it come to not understanding something and needing help but not knowing how to describe what type of help you need. I'm extremely patient as I stated before and I'm well educated. I'll definitely help your child improve in anything they need help in.

1) I get aqainted with them
2) I give them a mini 30 or 60 question quiz to see what they already know
3) I recognize and mainly focus on the areas that I see them struggling in
4) I help them understand and memorize the work I teach them and give them easy and simple ways to solve what ever they need help with.
5) I'll test the once every two weeks to see how much their improving and to see what i need to switch my focus on.
I've worked with students who had trouble focusing and retaining the information. They all got a c+ or higher.

She’s a good tutor. I like her.
I felt comfortable with her. She explained stuff in a way that i could understand. I highly recommend her.
She was nice and helped me get my grades up. She used to tutor me at my middle school last year I definitely recommend her.
