About Rachael-Lee
I have prior experience with online tutoring as well as with in-person tutoring.
What I enjoy most about tutoring is simply the opportunity to impart knowledge to others and to help bring them to a place of confidence in a particular subject. I also enjoy seeing the ecstatic faces and the smiles when my tutees realize for themselves, that they understand the concept and are able to solve once difficult problems on their own.
I am a junior in university pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Mathematics, I have already completed my Math minor. I have approximately one and a half years of tutoring experience, tutoring students in various courses such as precalculus, elementary statistics, general chemistry, general biology to name a few. I am also proud to say that the students that I have tutored in the past all passed their classes.

My process for working with a new student always starts with finding out their comfort level and their level of understanding of a subject. Moreover, finding out their grade, the level of the course that they are taking (ie Honors, AP etc.) as well as their coursework thus far is also essential to the determination of the best place to start with getting the student up to speed with class material.
Furthermore, a copy of the class syllabus (if applicable) would be very helpful in determining the trajectory of the class for the semester and could also facilitate in keeping the student ahead of the class.
I have tutored both male and female students in the past. I have also tutored students from various backgrounds including white, black, and Indian students.
