About Glen
Aloha,
My call name is Glen, though I go by Bubba. I have finished my freshman year at UNLV as a civil engineering major. I have taken advanced math courses from middle school to college, making me qualified to tutor up to calculus 3. I enjoy working through math problems as there are interesting real-world applications to them.
I am going into my sophomore year, studying civil engineering at UNLV. Technically, I am a junior in terms of credits as I took advanced and college courses through high school. I have taken math up until Calculus III in college. Therefore, I am comfortable tutoring most subjects below. I enjoy math as the applications of the concepts are interesting to learn about.

I would try to understand the concepts they are learning in class and how I can get them to get a great understanding of them. I will try to find out their learning style. For example, I am a visual learner. I'll have them work through a problem as much as they can. When they get stuck, I'll try to find details that brought them in the wrong direction or give them a hint to lead them to the answer.
