About Kate

I enjoy determining how each student learns and then making a plan to meet their needs.

I started using this skill 35 years ago when diagnosed with dyslexia. Since then I have graduated with a BS in Mathematics, a MA in Counseling, two Masters of education first specializing in Secondary education then in Special Education.

I have worked as a tuter throughout college and while my child was young then later I taught in alternative Education along with tutoring for six years.

I am now running my own tutoring business that focuses on any ability level by increasing your brains ability to learn.

In addition to teaching mathematics I have tutors that can teach reading in both Lansing and Holland Michigan

BS in Mathematics with honors, MA in Counseling, and two Masters in Education first focusing on Secondary Education then on Special Education.

About the lesson

Watching the student to determine how they learn. Asking questions to get a background to determine where to start with the student. Then depending on the student's goal I will test or work with the student.
