About Kaley
Kaley White worked as a tutor and teaching assistant at Tennessee Technological University while earning her B.S. in Computer Science. She currently tutors for Chegg, Inc. and has had many informal tutees as well. Kaley has tutored students of all backgrounds, from a retired surgeon, to international students, to honors and remedial high school math students. Experienced subjects include math, computer science, English, ESL, public speaking, and test prep and study skills. Kaley credits her success in both academics and tutoring to one thing: simple interest. Her passion for tutoring is sharing that interest with others!

After introducing myself to a new student, I simply ask what they would like to accomplish, whether that is during a single session or over several. Often, the goal is to complete a specific assignment or do well on an exam, but some students prefer to simply have material explained again so they can be sure they understand it. As I explain concepts, I try to gauge the student's current understanding so I can both solidify it and use it to build up to unfamiliar concepts. My primary goal and the student's are one and the same, but I also enjoy showing the "real world" uses of the subject and generating interest.
