About Victoria
Because I have a technical degree in electrical engineering backed by minors in math and physics, I am able to approach subjects not only theoretically, but also practically. How does this subject apply to the real world? When I teach, students will start to understand why what they're learning is necessary and how it applies to the real world.
I enjoy seeing a student's face when the "light bulb" moments happen. When I help a student to finally grasp a concept we've been working on and see the excitement within them, it's pure joy for me. That's why I teach. Everyone is capable of learning difficult material and I like to help students realize the power they have to overcome their struggles with math and engineering.
I earned my bachelor's degree in electrical engineering along with minors in math and physics from the University of Alaska Anchorage in May 2018. I am currently pursuing my master's in Computer Science. I am a logical thinker and was always the go-to girl in school to help my classmates understand material they were struggling with. I explain things in many different ways because not everybody thinks the same. Being able to approach subjects from different angles makes me a great teacher and gives students an in depth understanding of what they're trying to grasp.
