About Tabatha
I am extremely excited to go to work every day! I work hard to make sure each student's individual learning styles are being met during sessions.
I enjoy working with everyone! It is my passion to help kids get the material. When the concept clicks in the student's head and they can start to really enjoy learning is the moment I look forward to the most.
I am a college student, working on getting my Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry. I have been a nanny and facilitator of learning for over 1 year now. I also have years of tutoring kids in the neighborhood and working with my brother who is 11 years younger than me.

If the student is middle school age or younger, I will typically first talk to the parents/caretaker about what kind of motivation works for the child. I would then incorporate that into the learning process.
No matter the age of the student, I will first establish that I am human and I am not perfect. My students will learn that making mistakes and being wrong is not only okay but vital to improving their learning. I will express to the student that I am there solely to assist them and their learning.
I have worked with children as young as 4 years old to early high school years.
