About Stacie

I am a state of Florida certified math teacher for grades 5 thru 12. I have been a middle school math teacher for four years and a high school math teacher for four years. I have a passion for helping students learn. I can accomodate a student's learning syle to be successful in math!

About the lesson

I always spend time gauging what the student knows and what the student needs to know. Then I am able to find the gap in his/her knowledge and begin to fill it.

Perfect! I don't even know where to start! My son failed the state algebra exam, and needless to say the whole experience was very frustrating and upsetting for him, so we really needed some help.

Ms Carter is so patient and understanding, and it has taken the my son's negative emotions out of the equation. Now my son has a positive outlook on his ability to learn algebra! He has learned more in one month with Ms Carter than he did all year in school! I cannot thank her enough for the help she has given my family.

We had a great experience with smart math tutor. My 11 yo girl needed help with 5th grade math. The way things are taught now, the homework looked like a foreign language. Our tutor, Stacie, was helpful. She was patient and kind but she was also great at keeping my daughter on task.

She also helped my middle schooler and 16yo. Pre algebra for my middle schooler and pre-calc for my high schooler. Even though I have a college degree, that was 21 years ago. Stacie is knowledgeable about all the math classes.
