About Zachary
Hello students! My name is Zach and I am a college student currently attending the University of Michigan at its Ann Arbor campus. I have been tutoring at the middle school and high school level for several years now, and I like to think of myself as well-rounded and able to cover several different fields. I have the most experience tutoring math, science, and english, but I am a history major at school and I am more than willing to tutor that as well. I am also a saxophonist going into my 9th year of playing and I have experience giving lessons in that as well if that is more the type of tutoring you are searching for. I look forward to working with you!
Seeing the growth of the inividual I'm tutroing is very rewarding in its own right. I love witnessing the moment confusion turns into understanding, as tough concepts become easy.
I had a younger peer reach out to me in high school for chemistry help and just continued to tutor after that point.
I have been a tutor for several years, have years of AP testing under my belt, and am attending the University of Michigan, the top public university in the US.

The most important thing to do first is to get a fix on the student's current understanding of the topic. Once that is established, I can determine if the student just needs to review certain concepts that they are struggling with, or if they need to start at the beginning of a unit or concept.
Mostly high school students and a few middle school students
Not only is it important to find a qualified teacher, but it is important to find one who is willing to tailor to your specific academic needs
