About Takaaki
I enjoy teaching students, I first find out what the student knows and up to what level he/she is, and will build upon it to get to the next level step by step.
I have 7 years experience teaching.
I tutored at College of the Marshall Islands for a year.
I have tutored at the University fo Hawaii at Manoa's Online Learning Academy for 4 years on Math subjects for students from K-12 and also college students.
I have also tutored Math at Kapiolani Community College for one year.
I have also taught Japanese language for Middle and High school students from grade 6-11 at the Majuro Cooperative School.
I have taught at the College of the Marshall Islands as Adjunct professor in Biology.
I also taught Algebra 2, Physics, and Chemistry for high school students at the Upward Bound program.
I have a BS in Civil Engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

I usually start by asking what the student understands and up to what level he/she has studied at school. Then, I confirm key concepts to see if he/she really understands up to what level, then I see if I can build upon what is already known to instill new concepts. Then review and review and see if it is learned and understood. If not, I repeat the same process until the student gets it.
