About Suzanne
I have taught a variety of high school math courses:
Algebra 1, Algebra 2,Geometry, Precalculus, College Algebra and Finite Math.
I can confidently work,with middle school, high school, and entry level college students. I am also familiar with the Saxon math curriculum for home school students.
I have been tutoring for eight years as well as teaching in JCPS and would be happy to provide references.
I usually meet my students at the Heine Brothers coffee shop located near Holiday Manor shopping center. I feel a neutral location is best. Afternoons between 3:30 -6 and Sunday afternoons work best. I prefer a set schedule, but am available for last minute study sessions!
Since I teach in a large public high school with big classes, I like the one on one relationships I can build through tutoring. And of course I love to feel that I am helping to build confidence and share in a student's success.
