About Andrew
When it comes to challenging problems, I do not want to rush students to quickly learn the concept so they can do the applications. I want them to approach it step-by-step and build strategies so they can discover their own way of tackling these problems. I can provide valuable insight and techniques that will allow students to fully understand these concepts and how they apply in real-world situations.
I have a deep passion in the field of mathematics and I have taken courses throughout college, such as Calculus and Statistics. I believe in the ideas behind it as it helps describe the patterns and logic of our physical world and universe. Not only do I wish to understand more of its beauty, but I want to share this to students so they may discover its necessity in the world and become our future engineers, physicists, or mathematicians.
I have completed a few Calculus and Statistics courses at the University of Connecticut. I have done very well in these classes and the subjects themselves piqued my interest to understand more about mathematics. I am currently self-teaching linear algebra and I hope it brings new insight that I can share with my students to understand more of the fundamentals they struggle with.

I would go over the topics the students are learning in class and go over their strengths and weaknesses. Being able to get a good understanding of their skill set will allow me to develop a plan that focuses on what they need to work on. If they are willing to commit to it, I can assure they will excel in class.
