About Emily
I enjoy working with students and am very easy to get along with. I am patient and stay invested in making sure the students’ have an understanding of the content and are successful in their problem solving.
I love helping students understand and seeing that “aha” moment. I love building their confidence and celebrating their successes.
I have a bachelors degree in Mathematics for Teaching and a masters degree in Mathematics for Secondary Education. I am a professionally licensed high school math teaching and have been teaching for 6 years.

When working with new students I like to observe how they attempt to solve different types of problems. Seeing what their strengths and weaknesses are, as well as getting a glimpse into how their mind works and understands, can help me better extend skills and improve misconceptions.
