About Dillon
I'm a rising third year at Univeristy of Virginia's biomedical engineering and computer science program. Throughout high school and college, I have been a volunteer and teaching assisstant for students from 3rd grade to college. I believe that effective teaching is based off a focus on fundamental concepts.
I enjoy getting to know my learners and to learn about life from their perspective. I enjoy one-on-one interactions and sharing the sense of accomplishment of learning something new. Especially with the sciences, I love seeing the epiphany moment whereby everything seems to fit snugly together.
I have two younger brothers who I like tutoring. I enjoyed tutoring throughout high school.

In an ongoing python class that I teach, I am proud of seeing how much progress the students have made in such a short period of time.
