About Jen

Have you or your child ever said "I can't do math" or "I am not good at math"? When I was growing up, I always struggled with memorizing formulas and algorithms. As an elementary teacher, I pride myself on getting to know my students individually and gear lessons based on their interests and academic strengths.

I interned in a 3rd grade classroom as well an 8th grade math and science classroom. Last year I taught 5th grade. I will be teaching 3rd grade in September. I completed my Masters degree in Elementay Education as well as a Bachelors degree in Psychology.

About the lesson

First, I focus on getting to know my students. I pride myself on building strong relationships so that each student is comfortable. Each lesson will focus on small skills that allows student ample opportunities to practice and review.
