About Caitlin
I am an engineering student at the University of Notre Dame, home for the summer. I have experience tutoring in all subjects, especially math, since 2014 and ran my own volunteer tutoring service at my high school. I also have experience tutoring chemistry at the college level.
I love working with kids, I am very patient, and I like to use unique methods to make math seem fun!
Seeing a boost in self confidence when a student grasps a concept they were struggling with! I love helping people and believe I have a talent for tutoring so this is my small way of making the world better for one person at a time.
I have been tutoring as an individual service since my freshman year of high school and continued into college, working with Academic Services at my University as a tutor in chemisty.

At the start, I like to go through old class work and notes to see where note-taking skills and correction skills stand. It's important to build on a good foundation for math especially so correctly old work is the first place I start, then we go from there to tackle new challenges in a way that works differently for each person!
