Great Question. The thing about teaching is... the best teachers I realize are the ones dedicated to learning and helping others learn. I think this philosophy encompasses my very existence.

Great Question. My education comes from William Paterson University where I studied Mathematics and Computer Science. I have training in tutoring because I used to be a Mathematics tutor at my university for Calculus 1 and 2 and now I’m a math instructor at a prestigious specialized math learning center called Mathnaisum where I work with 1st grade to 12th grade students. Lastly, I’m a substitute teacher for the Garfield Board of Education, getting the sense of working with up to 20 kids in one class room and, studying to become a math teacher.

About the lesson

Well... I believe the first process to working with new students is going over what they already know, and how do they know it, so I can build upon the abilities they do know, to tackle the new skills we will learn.

The age group i worked with is as small as 3 years old to over 20 years old.

I think first off, it’s simple to say, that the instructor must know the knowledge to get the student an A+. And second, but also lastly, does the instructor know how to teach the material in different ways to help the student understand.

It is hard to describe a recent event i'm fond of, is because i have to many fond memories. I could say one would be seeing my friends on the weekends to enjoy each others company.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I believe this question is super crucial. More crucial then the instructor themselves. I say this because, as an analogy, a doctor can only help a patient as far as what the patient knows what is wrong with themselves. There are certain guidelines to mental and physical health, if you tend to skip them, you will lack certain things, but it’s up to the person to know what they “skipped” so the doctor can remedy the situation. In the same way, students should look what they learned in class, and notice what they perhaps didn’t pay attention too, where they have gotten lost, or lost focus, so that when they approach the teacher for a question, it can easily be remedied with the solution the teacher obviously knows.

I would say due to my not only broad knowledge but extensive from all my: professors, teachers, mentors, and training, i would say my mininmum is 20 dollars an hour and increases depending on subject material.
