About Taylor
I believe that with intentional instruction, anyone can become confident in their math skills. I feel passionate about help those who want to improve on their skills but haven't found the right guide to do so.
I love seeing the confidence of my students transform after recieving instruction best suited for their weaknessess and learning methods. I teach students that math skill development is a product of the effort put in, not simply genetic capability.
I am a third year undergraduate student at the University of Florida studying Statistics and Computer Science, both disciplines in which a deep understanding of basic math and algebra is needed to ensure success. I have taken advanced courses in subjects such as Sets and Logic, Calculus I, II, and III, Linear Algebra, Probability, etc. which are based upon complex mathematical proofs. Along the way, I have tutored family members and close friends in subjects such as Algebra I and II, Precalculus, and Statistics who saw improvements in grades in specific classes and beyond.

I first like to ask the student questions about their weaknessess, strengths, and favorite way to learn. I also aquire the material used in the classroom and abide by the methods taught to that student. In each session, I combine the most scientifically researched methods for learning to ensure success and full understanding by my student.
