About Sharon
I am a Special Education Teacher with 3 years of Elementary and Middle School experience is Math, ELA, Social Studies and Science. I have a Masters in Teaching-Special Education and a BS in Psychology. I have a PEL certification from Illinois (we moved to Fairport in July), and currently an Emergency COVID certification for SPED grades 1-6. I take into account how each student learns and differentiate lessons.
Everything-teaching is my passion. I thoroughly enjoy working with each student, building their confidence, and watching them grow.

First I need to get to know my students so I can understand how they learn. I also like to do assessments to get a baseline as where we need to start. This is only for those who are looking for further assistance with reading fluency and math. If you're looking for a tutor to assist with homework I will need to know the curriculum.
