About Lindsay
I am a credentialled math teacher with over 7 years of experience in teaching and tutoring math. I believe that ALL students are capable of learning math at a high level. I am patient and empathetic and am happy to use multiple approaches to help you or your child understand the math concept at a deep level. I have a strong understanding of mathematical concepts through caluculus, as demonstrated by a perfect score on the Praxis Mathematics Exam (5161), but I also have a pasion for understanding how the brain learns and encorporate brain science backed strategies and study suggestions into my teaching and tutoring.
I love that math problems can be understood and solved in so many different ways. It brings me great joy when I am able to help a student make a connection that helps them understand a concept that was previously difficult for them.

She is very patient with people that are struggling with a variety of math concepts. She fully understands the concepts and walks through them with her students step by step, breaking each down in ways that make sense both theoretically and visually. She also allows you to work through the problems yourself so you learn where you have troubles. Extremely helpful. Passing my class because of her tutoring.
Lindsay tutored me while I was taking a statistics course. Though I found the course itself difficult she made the information accessible and understandable.
