About Elizabeth
Math is often a very difficult subject for students. My service will stand out by engaging students, and getting them excited about their studies. I will do this by using enthusiam to break down concepts that are easier to understand. I have been tutoring online with GoPeer, and I have really enjoyed my experience. I have tutored 1st grade math all the way up to AP Calculus.
Not only do I love math, but I love a challenge. Trying to explain difficult concepts in a way that will be clear and make sense to a student can be a puzzle. I enjoy figuring out methods that click in students brains, and there is nothing more rewarding when a confusing concept is finally understood by one of my students!
With the Covid-19 pandemic there is a need for online tutors and I enjoy tutoring, so it works out for both parties!
I am a fourth year engineering student at the University of Michgian, so I have taken several uooer level math courses. I continue to use these math skills in all the engineerijng relatied classes, keeping my prboem solving abilities sharp. I have also worked on GoPeer tutoring math for 3 months.

I typically begin with what concepts are the most cahllenging and ttry to bereak it down in a way that will make sense. Once we work through the "big picture" I begin introducing practice problems that can test a students understanding of the material.
I have worked with students from 1st grade through 12th grade.
