About Emily
I am a Christian and believe that the only way to help your child be successful is by seeking the Lord for guidance. I won't enter work before praying for each child as I know I can't do it in my own strength.
I have tutored for 10+ years and I love it, but the last 3 years I spent creating curriculum at a church in the kid’s ministry. I realized quickly I had to rely on the Lord to teach those children rightly. I believe that for every person.
Tutoring has been so fulfilling to see students understand math and come out successful. When they start feeling confident in who they are and confident in during their work.
I have a mathematics degree and 10+ years of tutoring, but mostly I rely on the Lord. God does not call the qualified, but qualifies the called.

When I first meet you or your child, I will want to going over their curriculum in the classroom at school and get acquainted to find out what would make learning fun/successful. We will set up a schedule that works for all of us. Then, I will pray about how to best go about teaching your child. I am a Christian and want the best outcome for the student.
