About Matthew
I love helping students get past mental blocks and gain confidence in math and science skills. I find I can do this by connecting the student with the concept through the student's other interests and subjects where the student already feels confident.
I worked for Mathnasium during a break from college, served a walk-in clinic for freshman technical courses and served as an end of semester tutor.
My bachelor's degree in chemical engineering included eight semesters of chemistry, two semesters of physics and biology and six semesters of mathematics.
I was trained in Mathnasiums teaching methods and math shortcuts as part of my onboarding there.
