About Marilyn
Hi! I am Marilyn and I am currently finishing up college. I strive to work with children as my future career and teaching is my passion. I love helping others out which is why I was a tutor for many of my peers in school.
I have experience in working with children with special needs from shadowing therapist at the developmental therapy associates.
I love being able to offer my services and help in any way I can. My goal is to make as much postive impact to my students and see progress each day. The key is to stay motivated and push through even through the toughest times.
It really all begin when I was in high school. I always enjoyed helping out my classmates a lot. I then got an opportunity to help out elementary students and help them with their homework in all subject (math, science and english).
I was a tutor and mentor for elementary and high school students for youth leadership program and bull city youthbuild. I also gain experience in teaching elderly Spanish phrases and Latin culture.
