About Jada
I recently started at University of Illinois pursuing a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in business. I’ve tutored, led classes, and made curriculum for elementary and middle schools for four years all for nonprofit organizations. Through LearntoBe, I volunteer tutored online 2nd graders - 6th graders reading comprehension, writing, math, social studies, and science. Through Yapakids (nonprofit organization), I volunteer taught business classes to 6th-8th graders, created psychology curriculum for 3rd-5th graders, and was on the membership team.
My goal as a tutor is to further strengthen ideas that are taught in school. I love to use online games and activities to further enhance the lessons. I’m open to creating lesson plans based off the current curriculum or assisting in completing homework. Additionally, I like to send weekly updates before and after tutoring sessions to keep good communication with parents. I am welcome to any other suggestions/feedback throughout my tutoring sessions!
