About Tia
Welcome to Tutoring With Tia! I am a high school student based in Clarksburg, MD, who is currently attaining an Associate's degree in General Engineering. I have been providing private tutoring in AP Math & Science for four years. My goal is to not only help a student excel in Math and Science, but also to share the enthusiasm for each subject. Students who experience difficulty in learning STEM courses, often blame themselves, while it is truly the style of teaching that matters. With my experience, I know how to adapt to each student's unique learning style, and I refuse to accept a teacher's excuse that their student is "unable to grasp Science and Math." With my help, students can build confidence in these subjects and begin to look foward to what they once found frustrating.
