About Brian
Hey there! My name is Brian. I'm graduated from the University of California, San Diego in June, and I'm currently living in Hacienda Heights. I'm currently interning and studying to be an actuary (uses math to analyze risk). I've worked as a tutor at supplemental education schools like Kumon and ACI for a year and a half and all throughout high school I ran a club where we tutored kids from the local library. In total I've had around 5 years of experience as a paid tutor. I have plenty of experience dealing with little ones and I actually really enjoy working with them. Kids can be some of the most genuine and sweet people and I actually hope to be a pediatrician one day in the future. I think as a tutor I am patient and fun but I also understand how to get work done and facilitate a good learning environment. I understand that kids can be troublesome at times and I promise that with my years of experience I can ensure a safe and fun learning experience whether that is in person or online!
