About Nicholas
My name is Nicholas Grooms, and I graduated from Adena High School in Frankfort, Ohio in 2004, and then went on to attend Ohio University from 2008-2012. I can tutor most subjects, but math is probably my favorite because it's a completely objective subject. Even so, I'm always willing to listen to ideas, talk about why things are done the way they are done, and hopefully not only I still an ability to come up with an answer within a student, but even more importantly give them a firm grasp on why that answer makes sense, the reasoning behind it, and the reasoning as to why a certain method of obtaining that solution is the preferred method. I've found that even those who find math challenging can make great gains once they begin to understand some of the reasoning behind the answers. And, in some cases, it can even make it fun for them, as it always is for me.
