About Woodrow

Good Afternoon,

I'm a Marine Systems Engineer, but I also really enjoy tutoring. I'd like to help teach the fundamentals of Math, Science, and English; which are essential for success at the university and professional levels.

Having spent years studying, taking tests, and tutoring on how to study and take tests- I'm confident that I can help improve your scores and understanding.

As a Marine Systems Engineer with a minor in Electrical Engineering, I've gotten very good at high level mathematics- but I would much rather tutor and help younger students learn the fundamentals. I've been a part time tutor for 7 years and I have plenty of experience tutoring at the middle school, high school, and college levels. My clear English and ability to break down and explain math in easy to understand terms helps students to learn the material and improve their test scores.

All throughout my time at the Academy I tutored and proofread English papers and projects with underclassmen, foreign exchange students, and other classmates. English is one of my favorite subjects! I'm also available to help with proofreading, editing, and a wide variety of other topics as well.

In person I would charge $20 an hour. Online and depending on the subject I'm much more flexible. If needs be I can go down to $12 an hour.
