About Alec
Hi there! My name is Alec. I am an engineering graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder who has been tutoring high school and college-level math courses for over 5 years. These classes include Calculus 1 (AB), Calculus 2 (BC), AP Calculus, Precalculus, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, etc. I can also tutor the math sections on the SAT and ACT. I really enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple steps and making the learning experience as engaging as possible. I want to ensure that the student can complete a wide range of problems pertaining to the subject matter. My skills extend beyond just being able to effectively teach the material, as I can help a student with testing and their approach to the class. Overall, I am excited to combine my expertise in effective tutoring, testing techniques, and achieving grades to help students excel in their studies!
