About Rishi
Hello! My name is Rishi and I am currently a college student majoring in Mathematics and potentially Physics with the goal of becoming a Professional Educator. My undying passion for the pursuit of this goal was forged at a young age; I spent a lot of time studying mathematics out of sheer curiosity and was enthralled by its intrinsic beauty--A beauty that I found was lost while studying mathematics in a school setting. Every class I took felt fueled by a focus on drilling techniques via rote memorization rather than an understanding for where the math came from. This led me to becoming an educator that prioritizes fostering a deeper understanding for material, focusing on why rather than how. I wish to continue with this philosophy in a professional setting in the future.
