About Brittnee
My service stands out because I acknowledge and understand that each person has a different level of skill and a different learning ability. I like to focus on individual needs to help them understand the material better.
I enjoy being able to share my knowledge of math to help other understand it better. I love being able to see the joy on peoples faces when they finally understand how to solve an equation that they couldn't before.
I started off by helping my friends throughout all four years of high school. During my junior and senior year and even after I graduated I started tutoring my little cousins and kids of close family friends.
I have my high school diploma and I am currently attending community college. I have worked with my cousins as a math tutor for about four years now.

The first thing I always do is have them explain and describe to me what they are having issues understanding. Then I would focus on one topic at a time. It makes the most sense to make sure they fully understand one topic before moving onto the next because in math everything ends up tying together.
The most important piece of advice I would give is to make sure they are being fully listened to and that they can feel like a priority to their teacher. Being able to relate with the teacher can often help make learning easier too.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Make sure that you know which area needs to be corrected the most. It is important to have an idea of what you need the most help on so that the teacher knows where to start.
