About Charles
For more than thirty years, I have been teaching math at all levels from pre-kindergarten (very important work) through college.
I have helped students at all their levels, from intellectually challenged to budding genius.
My love of mathematics is catchy. My students, whatever their experience of math has been, usually grow to understand that the challenge is enjoyable. If the student is serious about having fun, I am usually able to bring her or him to mastery and enjoyment.
I have a degree in Mathematics from MIT and a Ph.D. in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science. I have published papers in refereed scientific journals in a variety of areas.
I work as an independent scientist, and I support myself through tutoring, which I love as much as I love doing research.
