About Dakota
In my five years of tutoring, I have learned that not all students learn the same way. There is never a one size fits all teaching or tutoring style. This is when I uniquly design each student's sessions to their own specific needs.
Ever since high school, I have loved the subject of mathematics. Tutoring allows me to help other students, who may be struggling to understand concepts, onto a level where they can not only understand the lessons and material they are working on, but perhaps also be able to appreciate the subject as a whole.
I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Mathamatical Statistics. During college, I spent years working for the Q Center, which was the tutoring center for fellow students. I have also tutored one on one before privately.
