About Abigail
I love spending my time after school helping other kids understand math. With the basics under your belt, you'll be able to understand any concept in class with a little bit of effort.
I have been a tutor for two years in the Bridgeport and Fairfield area. When I started high school I helped my relatives with their math and by word of mouth my business has grown.
I am a member of the Excelsior chapter of the National Honor Society and a competitor in SkillsUSA. I take part in all honors classes and I am also well versed in reading music.
I am a sophomore in high school, therefore I can teach everything below Algebra 2.

With new students, I first like to gauge what they already know in whatever subject of math they are studying. I create a sheet of problems in that subject and have them circle the problems that they do not understand. Then we work from there on similar problems and eventually broaden the learning spectrum.
I have worked with elementary and middle school school students of many ages and genders. I also have experience with special-ED and adhd students.
