About Stacey
I am an Education major at the University of Michigan, with a focus in mathematics. I am a certified subsitute teacher and have previous experience with tutoring. I am also a camp counselor so I have a ton of experience with kids and helping them learn and grow. My greatest passion in life is to be a teacher, and I want to get started as soon as I can!
Seeing a student understand a concept and have that light bulb moment is the most rewarding part of education. I also love working with kids and seeing the inner workings of their minds. I have a few teachers that have made immense impacts on my life, and if I could do that for just one student I would feel fulfillment in teaching.
Teaching has been my passion for my entire life. There has never been a day in my life I haven't wanted to be a teacher.
I am in the School of Education at the University of Michigan, I was a teacher's assistant for 5 years in 8th-12th grade, and I am a certified subsitute teacher.
