About Carlos
I'm high school student who has loved math since I can remember. I enjoy helping my peers and kids not only learn math, but enjoy it too!
I'm a rising junior that has taken Honors Physics, Honors Geometry, AP Physics, & Honors Precalculus. I have a weighted GPA of 4.3 and I scored a 5 on my AP Physics exam. Next year I'm excited to take on AP Calculus BC!
In class I would see my peers struggling to learn math and my teachers would request that I help them. I also spend time teaching my younger brother. I like teaching and I love math.
I have takens several courses and done well in all of them. They include Honors Geometry, Honors Physics, Honors Precalculus and AP Physics.

I don't come in with a set formula for working with a student. Each student is unique and requires a different way to understand and learn. I try to teach people concepts that they can apply to any problem. While rote memorization is useful sometimes it back fires when a problem is outside of the box.
I've worked with peers and younger kids.
