About Andrew
I have completed courses through calculus 2 and I am currently taking calculus 3. Because of this, I find that I am qualified to tutor a large array of math levels from elementary math all the way up to college-level courses. I am an engineering student at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor studying computer science.
I enjoy helping studnets figure out how to approach problems analytically, allowing them to not just know that they solved a problem correctly, but also understand why their answer makes sense in the context of the probem. Additionally, seeing students reach that "aha" moment when something clicks for them is very rewarding.
I started by working in my high school's after-school tutoring program, helping students primarly with math and physics.
I have taken numerous mathematics classes through my primary and secondary education, as well as calculus 1 and 2 at the university level. Additionally I tutored numeous high school students in both math and physics while in high school.

I like to get to know a little bit about the student in terms of interests both within acadmeics and outside of academics. Additionally, I try to figure which teaching methods work best for them within a session or two.
High school students of from ages 14-18. I have limited experience with students outside that age range but I don't think I would have any difficulty with adapting to different age groups.
