About Yuzuka
I am a fourth year undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University studying chemistry and applied mathematics. So, I'm comfortable tutoring chemistry and math-related topics, as well as SAT prep!
I really like seeing the progress that students make! I think that
I enjoyed helping my younger cousins with their homework, and so decided to work as a tutor.
I have worked at Kumon for 2 1/2 years, teaching students from ages 4 to 16. I have also worked as an SAT tutor for 2 summers, helping in both the verbal and math sections.

First, I'll get a sense of how comfortable the student is with the subject at hand. I'll ask the student to explain what they know and/or ask questions to determine their level of proficiency with the subject. Then I'll work to solidify their foundations in the subject.
