About Eugenia
I come from two generations of math teachers, and started working as a calculus TA, and then a tutor, while in college and for a while after college.
I have a BS in math from University of Chicago, with experience tutoring and TAing throughout college and several years afterwards.
Over the years I have found ways to explain certain concepts from math, especially high school math, that helps clarify topics that are frequent stumbling blocks.
This is my first return to tutoring after many years.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What is your stumbling block? Perhaps there a specific topic (e.g., logarithms) that you are just not getting. Perhaps you are staring at the entire textbook, and everything feels like gibberish, and you do not know where to start. Perhaps you are preparing for a test and need fast, reliable approaches to learn the material. Perhaps you get the rote methods but want to go in-depth and truly understand. Perhaps you need someone who can answer an occasional quetsion and keep you on task, or lead you gently with an "inquiry-based" way towards the solutions to problems.
