About Aya
I believe that every student is unique and needs an individually crafted plan for learning. Tutoring isn't just about learning the content required, but also learning how to learn and how to study the best way for you. Learning study skills, organization, and executive function are essential to going further!
I love working with kids and students to help support them in their individual needs and help them build confidence. I've worked as a math tutor at Skagit Valley College for a year, assisting students mainly in pre-calculus and calculus classes. I also worked at Summersun Montessori Preschool with children age 2-6. I am qualified to tutor SAT prep as well as many other standardized tests. I recently graduated from Burlington-Edison High School and plan on attending Yale University starting Fall 2021.
