About Poojan

I am very excited to share that I have been chosen for the best of this website 2020.

Math is my passion and I bet I would make it yours! I love working with students and seeing there happiness when they understand difficult concepts. With my extensive math skills I take a very basic approach and explain the complex world of math using everyday language because math is it's own language.

I would emphasize more on "understanding" than just "knowing".

I have gold medal in International Olympiad of Mathematics(IOM) with state rank-1 and global rank-32.

Math is my love and so is teaching. I love to teach complex cocepts in simple manner.

Teaching is something I always wanted to do. Math and teaching are actually my passion. I am an undergraduate student and I started teaching for fun about 10 months ago.

I have been doing math from my childhood and I participated in many math olympiads. I am currently pursuing major in Computer Science with minor in data science which envolves advanced mathematics.

I do have gold medal in International olympiad of mathematics(IOM) with state rank-1 and global rank-32.

About the lesson

I talk with the students and discuss their needs and goals. Then we start working on the material together, doing practice problems, and clearing up any misconceptions as we go. It is very important that the concepts are cleared and student "understand" the reason behind the things rather than just "knowing".

I have worked with mostly high school and college students through tutoring. However, I am confertable for working with other students too.
