About Emma
As a private tutor with 2.5 years of corporate experience, I have worked with elementary school to high school students coming from different backgrounds. Some have a disability, and others lacked confidence in themselves. Graduated as the valedictorian of my high school, I believe teaching goes beyond the classroom. Not everyone struggles with the same problem, so each student requires different types of methods to learn at their own pace. I have been able to lift up some students' overall grades from D's to A's after consistent tutoring. As of now, I still work as a private tutor at a local company. My availabilities are weekday evenings and weekends. For new students, we can meet at libraries or public places.
I love to maintain my own skills as a tutor. The best part about tutoring is to see the improvements from my students. In the past, I have lifted some students' overall grades by two letters up, and it's amazing to be part of the process.
