About Sarah
Hello! My name is Sarah Fox and I have been a high school math teacher for 4 years. I chose to stay home with my little ones, but I can't get enough of helping others with math. So what better option than Tutoring!
With my 4 years experience teaching math and 8 years experience tutoring, I am able to make mathematical concepts easier to understand for the high school learner.
In my teaching experience I have taught: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Honors Algebra 2, Pre-Calc
In my tutoring experience I have tutored through: Eastern Illinois University (where I tutored college students in their math courses), Sylvan Learning Center, High School Classes after school
During a typical tutoring session I will: Review any homework questions from the past week, work on current homework, review for quizzes/tests, create additional problems or review for struggling concepts, teaching students how to study math (because let's face it, this is difficult!), prepare for final examinations.
Additional Duties: With your permission, I will follow the student's grades with them each week and reach out to their teachers for additional assistance in bringing up their grade.
