As she progressed through her studies, she decided that she had a love of teaching and a love of helping others. Mighty B Learning helped support Bethany through college. After graduating Teachers College from Western Governors University, she decided to expand her business. Teaching and learning from the top names in the industry, she took Mighty B Learning to the next level. She wishes all to join her on this journey of education.

About the lesson

1) Test prep students take one of our FREE specialized diagnostic tests that will help us identify specific weaknesses and strengths. This is a crucial step is starting a study plan

2) We like to get to know our students on a personal level: hobbies, likes, dislikes. (This is crucial to helping develop a personalized study plan).

3) Once we have gotten to know the student both personally and academically, then we start with the material, and teach it in a way that makes sense to the student.

All types of students, including students who do have learning disabilities.

Don't pay for a title. Tutors can have fancy titles and the highest tier doesn't do anything different from the lowest tier.

Pick a tutor who is smart and knows how to teach. Always remember, what makes a good tutor is being able to identify every academic weakness, and provided guided feedback to strengthen that weakness.

Every session, parents/guardians will receive a parent update video that features the student and tutor. They will hear first hand from their student what they learned in class and what they liked about it. We do this because we realize some students are hesitant to express how class was. We also like parents/guardians to feel included in the student's learning experience.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Are you deciding which standardized test to take? Ask yourself "am I a strong reader?" This will be the first question your tutor will ask you.

Academic Tutoring: "what do I not understand about this concept? Where am I getting lost? Can I easily retrace my work to find my mistake?"
