About Camiah
I have been the student who goes to class everyday and pay attention to everything the teacher is saying, but still have a little trouble doing the work. I know that some teachers don't go over everything for the students to understand the curriculum. I am a 4.0 college student, that will meet you where you are at. One on one tutoring where my attention is all on you as the student. I answer questions thoroughly and precisely so that you can understand better.
I enjoy the smiles on the students faces when they understand the math problems after I teach them how to do it. I also enjoy when they begin to do it themselves and their grades improve. I enjoy building bonds with amazing people who inspire me and who I hope to inspire.
I began tutoring, when my little cousins asked for help for their schoolwork. I listened to their classes to understand what was being asked by the teacher. I then begin to teach them and breakdown step by step directions. My cousins then began to have better grades.
I passed the College exam called Accuplacer, with above average score for Reading,Writing, College Algebra, Arithmetic, and Elementary Algerbra. I have earned an A or B in all of my math classes. I am a 4.0 Student.

I start with having the student explain to me what they are working on in school. I then proceed to indentify what they don't understand and why. I start to teach them the fundamentals of that specific topic. And then work on their previous assignments as practice and for better understanding.
I have worked with Elementary,middle,and highschoolers.
I would tell them to trust the process and stay focused.
A recent event I am very vond of is when my cousin who I was tutoring received his progress report and saw the he received a "B" in math. To see that he is improving makes me happy and that is why I am a tutor.

Have I studied enough and tried my best to understand? Did I pay attention when this subject was being taught? What problem am I having in a particular situation/topic? Did I take notes? Did I ask my peers?

Details
I charge 15 dollars a session because I do not think that you should have to pay a lot for tutoring. I am here to help the student not to put money in my pocket. I am very eligible which is why my price is 15. I meet the student where they are at, teach them fundamentals, and breakdown every detail.
