About Abigail
I am a junior at charter-school of Wilmington Delaware, and I love to teach/help students who are struggling in any area of mathematics. I am taking AP Calculus at the moment and I am taking several other APs and I am confident in tutoring precalculus, geometry, algebra 1+2, prealgebra, etc. I have tutored many students my age in person however during the pandemic I have not been able to tutor in person and I want to move my platform online so that I can help any child out there who is struggling in math.

When I meet a new student I start out by going through what area of math they are taking that school year and I ask them what they believe their strengths and weaknesses are in that subject. Then I ask them what their grade is and what their goals are in that subject, as well as their goals for their future endeavors. I work out a schedule to meet their needs and I begin by asking them from what curriculum or textbook they are learning. I will look over that textbook and outline all of the units the student should learn that year then I make a structured plan to focus on each unit based on how much the student feels for each subject.

Abby was super understanding of my schedule and she was able to tutor my daughter caroline in prealgebra during her 7th-grade year and was able to catch caroline up in algebra and she was able to take algebra 1 in the second semester of her 7th-grade year even though she started out prealgebra in 7th-grade. she was super reasonable in her pricing, she had flexible scheduling and even connected with my daughter and was able to communicate with her on a teenage level.
